David Dominik is a Managing Director of Golden Gate Capital. He has extensive private equity investment and operational experience, especially in a broad range of technology-related industries. Prior to Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Dominik spent ten years as a managing director at Bain Capital where he was responsible for managing Information Partners, a specialized fund within Bain Capital that focused on software, information services, and transaction processing companies serving a broad range of end markets. Mr. Dominik also built several scale companies in the semiconductor and electronics industries. Mr. Dominik also served on the investment committee of Brookside, Bain Capital's public equity hedge fund. In addition, Mr. Dominik opened and ran the California office for Bain Capital. Previously, Mr. Dominik was a partner at Zero Stage Capital, an early stage technology venture capital firm where he helped co-found several successful technology ventures. He was an early investor and assistant to the chairman of Genzyme Corporation. He also served as a Consultant at Bain & Company.
Mr. Dominik has a J.D. from Harvard Law School (cum laude) and an A.B. from Harvard College (magna cum laude; Phi Beta Kappa).
Jesse Rogers is a Managing Director of Golden Gate Capital. He has been active in private equity as either a principal or an advisor since 1990. Mr. Rogers' areas of focus include consumer products, retail, financial services, media and transportation. Prior to Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Rogers, a long-time partner at Bain & Company, was the Founder and worldwide head of Bain's Private Equity Group. Under his leadership, Bain & Company became the global leader in this business. Mr. Rogers also was elected to Bain's Governance Committee, was a member of its Board of Directors and founded its Investment Committee. He also co-led Bain's Consumer Products Practice. Previously, Mr. Rogers was an officer at J.P. Morgan. Mr. Rogers holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University. He is a Trustee of Stanford University's DAPER Investment Fund and a Member of Harvard Business School's California Research Center Advisory Board. Mr. Rogers is also a member of the Board of Directors of Common Sense Media.
Prescott Ashe is a Managing Director of Golden Gate Capital. He has 15-years of private equity investing experience and has participated in both growth-equity and management buyout transactions with more than $10.0 billion in value. Mr. Ashe focuses on (i) technology-related industries (specifically software, IT services, electronic hardware and manufacturing services), (ii) the consumer products and retail sectors, and (iii) business services. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Ashe was a Principal at Bain Capital, which he initially joined in 1991, and a strategy consultant at Bain & Company. Mr. Ashe holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley (where he graduated first in his class).
Ken Diekroeger is a Managing Director of Golden Gate Capital. Since 1990, Ken has been investing as a private equity professional in a variety of industries. At Golden Gate he focuses on consumer products, financial services, electronics and semiconductor equipment. Prior to Golden Gate Capital, Ken was a managing director at American Industrial Partners which led operationally-intensive, industrial buyouts. Early in his career, Ken invested in numerous consumer product companies while at The Shansby Group. He started his career as a strategy consultant at Bain and Company. Ken received his BS in Industrial Engineering (where he graduated first in his engineering class) and his MBA (Arjay Miller Scholar) at Stanford University.
Stefan Kaluzny is a Managing Director of Golden Gate Capital. Prior to Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Kaluzny conceived and co-founded Delray Farms, a Hispanic specialty food company. At Delray Farms, he led the growth of the company from a startup to $100 Million in 3 years. At Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Kaluzny has focused on transactions in several sectors including software, semiconductors, information services, consumer products and retailing. Previously, Mr. Kaluzny was a Consultant at Bain & Company, where he worked with Mr. Rogers as part of the private equity group. Prior to joining Bain & Company, Mr. Kaluzny was an Associate with the LEK Partnership and President of K-Software International. Mr. Kaluzny has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar) and a B.A. in History from Yale University.
Rajeev Amara is a Principal of Golden Gate Capital, which he joined in 2000. At Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Amara focuses on the industrials sector. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Amara worked as an investment banker with the Los Angeles office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. At DLJ, Mr. Amara completed a large number of transactions including high yield financings, public and private equity offerings, leveraged buyouts and mergers and acquisitions.

John Gilligan is a Principal of Golden Gate Capital, which he joined in 2001. John Knoll is a Principal of Golden Gate Capital, which he joined in 2000. Prior to Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Knoll worked at Covad Communications as a product manager responsible for developing a new DSL service for the largest independent data CLEC. Prior to joining Covad, Mr. Knoll was a Consultant with Bain & Company, and worked in its private equity group. Prior to consulting at Bain & Company, Mr. Knoll developed automated process software for Kawasaki Heavy Industries in Japan. Mr. Knoll holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a M.S. and B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
Jake Mizrahi is a Principal of Golden Gate Capital, which he joined in 2003. Prior to Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Mizrahi was a founding executive and Vice President of Business Development and Sales at iPhrase Technologies. During Mr. Mizrahi's tenure at iPhrase, the company established a leadership position in the enterprise search software market with a blue-chip customer base and the highest growth rates in sales and profitability in the industry. Before joining iPhrase, Mr. Mizrahi was an investment professional at Bain Capital. Mr. Mizrahi has also worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company earlier in his career. Josh Olshansky is a Principal of Golden Gate Capital, which he joined in 2002. Doug Bayerd joined Golden Gate Capital in 2008. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Bayerd worked as an Associate in the Principal Opportunities Group at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. Previously, Mr. Bayerd also worked as an investment banker with the Los Angeles office of Deutsche Bank. Ulrik Binzer joined Golden Gate Capital in 2005. Prior to joining Golden Gate Capital, Mr. Binzer worked as an Analyst in the Corporate Finance Practice of McKinsey & Company in New York. Mr. Binzer was also previously a Junior Consultant at Ementor Denmark A/S. Mr. Binzer has also served as an Officer in the Danish Army.
