Blair Ford is Co-Head of Credit Opportunities, which he joined in 2010. Previously, Mr. Ford was a private equity investment professional with Texas Pacific Group where he was responsible for investments in a wide range of industrial and consumer sectors. Prior to Texas Pacific Group, Mr. Ford was an Associate with Bain Capital in Boston and San Francisco. Prior to Bain Capital, Mr. Ford was an investment banking analyst with Morgan Stanley in New York. Mr. Ford holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
Luke Smiley joined Golden Gate Capital in 2011. Prior to joining Golden Gate, Mr. Smiley worked as an investment analyst at Watershed Asset Management. Previously, Mr. Smiley was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Smiley has an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Political and Social Thought from the University of Virginia (magna cum laude; Phi Beta Kappa).
